DP World has appointed Portugese building agency Mota-Engil to guide the event of the Banana Port, the Democratic Republic of Congo’s (DRC) first deep-water maritime gateway.
Situated in a coastal city in Kongo Central province, the port is predicted to strengthen regional commerce networks and scale back the DRC’s dependence on international ports for world commerce.
