Cuban American leaders have referred to as for the discharge of political prisoners and the autumn of communist rule.
A bunch of Cuban American members of Congress and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio have referred to as for Cuba’s freedom and the discharge of greater than 1,000 political prisoners as a part of a commemoration of the archipelago’s Independence Day.
“Cuba will probably be free once more! At this time, Might 20, we honor the beginning of the Republic of Cuba and all of the courageous individuals who proceed to struggle in opposition to tyranny. Freedom is just not negotiable,” wrote Rep. María Elvira Salazar (R-Fla.) on social media platform X.
