As US cities heighten security, Iran’s history of reprisal points to murder-for-hire plots

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Division of Homeland Safety is warning of a “heightened risk surroundings” following U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear websites and the deputy FBI director says the bureau’s “belongings are absolutely engaged” to stop retaliatory violence, whereas native regulation enforcement businesses in main cities like New York say they’re on excessive alert.
