WASHINGTON—The USA imposed sanctions on Thursday towards a community that smuggles Iranian oil disguised as Iraqi oil and on a Hezbollah-controlled monetary establishment, the Treasury Division stated.
A community of firms run by Iraqi-British nationwide Salim Ahmed Mentioned has been shopping for and delivery billions of {dollars} price of Iranian oil disguised as, or blended with, Iraqi oil since no less than 2020, the division stated.
