Rubio Commits US to Bolstering Economic Ties With Southeast Asian Nations

KUALA LUMPUR—Overseas delegations concluded a five-day multilateral financial convention with a sequence of conferences geared toward fostering cooperation between nations and strengthening financial ties throughout the Affiliation of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) summit in Malaysia.

Mohamad bin Hasam, Malaysia’s international minister, instructed reporters on the occasion’s conclusion on July 11 that partnering nations will “handle their variations in a constructive and accountable method … to make sure that the area stays peaceable, secure and affluent.”
