Former Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo introduced on July 14 that he’ll stay within the New York Metropolis mayor’s race, weeks after shedding the Democratic main.
“To the 440,000 New Yorkers who voted for me, a honest thanks,” Cuomo stated in a video assertion posted on social media platform X. “Thanks for believing in me and my agenda and in my expertise. And I’m really sorry that I allow you to down.”
