Aryna Sabalenka wins opening singles match in Brisbane

BRISBANE, Australia — World No. 1-ranked Aryna Sabalenka has began her Brisbane Worldwide singles marketing campaign with a 6-4, 6-0 win Tuesday over Renata Zarazua of Mexico.

The match was a prelude on Pat Rafter Area for later males’s matches involving Nick Kyrgios and Novak Djokovic. Kyrgios was taking part in up-and-coming French expertise Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard, whereas Djokovic started his singles event towards Australian wild-card entry Rinky Hijikata.
