Legal professional Common Pam Bondi and Inside Secretary Doug Burgum visited the previous federal jail Alcatraz in California on July 17, following President Donald Trump’s order to reopen the island jail to deal with the nation’s most harmful criminals.
Alcatraz, positioned off the coast of San Francisco, served as a federal jail from 1934 till its closure in 1963 because of excessive operational prices. Since then, it has been managed by the Nationwide Park Service and opened to the general public as a vacationer website.
