The Democratic Nationwide Committee is deploying tens of hundreds of volunteers and ramping up direct voter outreach in Texas as a part of a brand new nationwide organizing program aimed toward countering Republicans’ mid-decade redistricting push within the state.

Introduced on July 28, forward of a last redistricting area listening to in Texas, the hassle consists of sending greater than 250,000 texts to voters and making ready 30,000 grassroots organizers to achieve persuadable Republican and impartial Texans in key districts.
