Rep. Jimmy Gomez (D-Calif.) criticized President Donald Trump for sending the Nationwide Guard to Los Angeles to quell the violent protests, on condition that California Gov. Gavin Newsom didn’t request the personnel.
“The chaos is the bait, and the swap is a constitutional disaster and energy seize,” Gomez stated throughout a press convention on Capitol Hill.
