Rep. Mary Miller (R-Unwell.) launched a companion invoice on July 23 to ban Chinese language entities from shopping for American farmland and houses.
The Defending Our Farms and Houses from China Act, and the Senate’s model launched earlier this month by Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.), got here because the Trump administration mentioned it will work with lawmakers to go legal guidelines to finish the acquisition or management of U.S. farmland by nationals of overseas adversaries.
