Spanish startup Multiverse Computing has raised €189 million ($217 million) to scale its breakthrough AI compression expertise, CompactifAI, which shrinks massive language fashions (LLMs) by as much as 95 per cent with no efficiency loss.
The San Sebastián-based agency introduced the Sequence B funding on June 12, led by Bullhound Capital, with assist from HP Inc, Forgepoint Capital, Toshiba, and a number of other public-private European buyers.
CEO Enrique Lizaso Olmos mentioned:

The instrument, impressed by quantum physics, can reduce AI inference prices by as much as 80 per cent and run fashions on smaller units like telephones, drones, and even Raspberry Pi.
