The State Division on Thursday imposed sanctions on Palestinian Authority (PA) officers and members of the Palestine Liberation Group (PLO). This comes as U.S. officers arrived in Israel to carry additional cease-fire talks.

“It’s in our nationwide safety pursuits to impose penalties and maintain the PLO and PA accountable for not complying with their commitments and undermining the prospects for peace,” a State Division spokesperson mentioned in a press release.
